Lisa Nanette Allen (Alexander) was born in Montgomery, AL to the late Walter J. Alexander and Rowena Alexander (Duncan). She became a member of Mobile Heights Baptist Church at an early age. She graduated from George Washington Carver High school in 1976 in Montgomery, AL.
She was a devoted wife to her husband Milton and an adoring mother to her two daughters Candace and Jaye. She enjoyed sewing, crossword puzzles and reading. She spent most of her career in various aspects of the mortgage lending industry. She loved traveling with her family and supporting her daughters in their various activities over the years.
She is survived by her husband Milton Allen and her daughters Candace Allen, Nashville, TN and Jaye Allen, Cincinnati, OH; her granddaughters Carsyn and Cooper Oji, Nashville, TN; her brothers Aubert Alexander (Sherie), Huntsville, AL and Walter Alexander, Jr., Upper Marlboro, MD, aunts Ann Duncan (Alexander), Montgomery, AL and Paula Jean Duncan, Conley, GA; step-mother Marian Alexander (Jackson), Montgomery, AL; brother-in-law Marvin Allen, Atlanta, GA, sister-in-law, Doris Brookins (Ron), Orlando, FL, brother-in-law Douglas Love, Atlanta, GA. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and close friends.
