Anna Augusta (Robinson) Walker

Mrs. Anna (Gusta) R. Walker was born in Lowndes County, Alabama.  She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Wesley Chapel, CME. She was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Roosevelt P. Walker. She was blessed with three loving children. She joined First Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church after relocating to Birmingham, Alabama where she remained a devoted, faithful member until her health began to fail.  She served as secretary of her Sunday School Class, was a member of the Senior Usher Board and served on the hospitality committee for many years. She was a devout Christian and truly loved the Lord.

Her life’s journey ended on Monday, September 18, 2017, when she made her transition to her Heavenly Home.  She is now walking around heaven all day with her husband, Mr. Roosevelt P. Walker, and all of her loved ones who preceded her in death.

Her memories will be forever cherished by her son, Lester H. Walker (Wendy) of Waianae, HI; Two daughters, Wanda G. Waddy (Rogers), Fairfield, AL; and Stephanie J. Harper (Murray) Center Point, AL; two sisters, Marie R. Allen and Willie R. Banks, both of Fort Lauderdale, FL; two sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law; ten grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and one great great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
