Belton Nails was the middle child born to Azelene and Vanish Nails on May 25, 1956 in the community of Pratt City, located in Birmingham, Alabama. He was saved by God’s grace on August 30, 1988. Belton accomplished many things—he enlisted in the United States Army for two years, remained sober for thirty years and owned a trucking business for a number of years. Belton touched the lives of many. He has now finished God’s work on earth and has gone to a better home.
He is preceded in death by his parents; an older sister, Leona; and a brother, Belvin Nails.
Mr. Belton Nails leaves to cherish his memory: seven children, Thurman Eugene, Victoria, Monique, Belton Romon, Tiffany, A.J. and Emory; seven grandchildren, one great grandson, one sister, Dezzie Ellison (Rodney); special friends, Mac, Dollar, Jelly, Bren, Goocie Man, Nick, Roadrunner, Mr. Biggs, Oh Yea Dex, Verna, Tonya, Sharon, Shirley, Karen, Lady Bo, Denise, Dot, Cimp, Mz Beep, Dee, Juke Juke “Outcast”, the Low Riders Motorcycle Club and many other friends, relatives and co-workers.
