May 9, 1991 ~ July 9, 2017 (age 26) 26 Years Old

And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed [are] the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. (Revelation 14:13)

Brandon Hardy was born May 9, 1991 in Birmingham, Alabama.  He is the son of Ibrahim and Delois Barry.

He went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 9, 2017.

He confessed Christ at an early age at Mt. Cannon Full Gospel Church under the leadership of Pastor Willie B. O’Neal. He later joined Mt. Moriah Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Bernard Williams.  He worked at Publix for five years as a grocery specialist until he was no longer able to work.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his parents- Delois and Ibrahim Barry, brother – Djogo Barry, sister – Aissatou Barry, (sister who preceded him in death – Senethia Hardy), niece- Jonethia Hardy, nephew – Darius Radney, and a host of relatives and friends.

“It Came My Time to Leave”

Don't spend too much time in mourning. Tears are for the sad.  I left to be with Jesus, and this should make you glad.  Don't waste your hours in grieving.   No need to feel distress.  I'm tired of life's frustrations, and had to get some rest. Don't vex yourself with questions, or try to reason why.  Life here for me was ended; it came my time to die.  Don't lose the love I gave you; feed it with your care.  Grow it with devotion and spread it everywhere.  Don't fret because my leaving came in such a way.  We'll have another meeting, in God's Eternal Day!

We have sustained a great loss, but the pain was lessened by your kind deeds. Through your example we have been made aware of God’s mercy, as you have been a beacon of light in the gathering darkness. May the love of God and grace and consolation of the Holy Spirit be with you all forevermore more.
