Christopher Benton Richardson was born July 29, 1956 to Rosie Leen Hampton Richardson and Eddie Richardson. He received his education from Jackson Olin High School and in the Armed Services. He worked for the neighborhood Walmart as an Overnight Stocker. After retiring, he pursued his passion for cooking by enrolling in Virginia College where he received a certificate in Culinary Arts.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Rosie Leen Richardson; sister, Dorothy Odell Smith; and brothers, Andre Richardson and Eddie Earl Richardson. Christopher passed away on August 10, 2019.
Christopher leaves to cherish: his wife of thirteen years, Lisa Phillips Richardson; children, Chiqutia (Clinton) Morris, Christina Richardson, Christopher Richardson, Jr.; Brittany (Tyrone) Cook; sisters, Barbara (John) Fagin, Annie (Andrew, III) Chambin; grandchildren, Joshua and Jordan Morris, Caliah Maddox, Christopher Moore, Emanuel Thomas, Ja’carrielle Thomas, Christopher Appleton, Emond Appleton, Darnell Cook, Makenzie Cook; brothers-in-law, Edward (Rhonda) Phillips, Derrick Phillips, Anthony Books; a host of other relatives and friends.
