Darryl Cole

Darryl Cole, affectionately known as “Buster”, was born on January 4, 1964 in Birmingham, Alabama to Jessie Lewis Cole and Hazel E. Cole. God called him home on December 14, 2017 at the age of 53. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jessie Jr., and father, Jessie L. Cole, Sr. Darryl joined Pleasant View Baptist Church in Ensley at an early age, where he confessed his life to Christ. He attended Tuxedo Elementary School and Ensley High School. Shortly after graduation, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he worked in the hotel industry for many years. Darryl leaves to cherish is memory: his loving mother, Hazel E. Cole; six sisters, Marilyn, Debra, Cynthia, Valerie, Tijuana, and Karrie Cole; a brother, Frederick (Ethel); three aunts, Emma Lloyd, Linda Bristow (Irving) and Joyce Hoskins; three uncles, William Salter (Lucille), Johnny and O’Neal Cole of Birmingham, Alabama; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
