Gayzella Boatwright

Ms. Gayzella Elizabeth Boatwright was the first born to the late Booker and Elizabeth Boatwright in Birmingham, Alabama.

She confessed Christ at an early age and united with First Baptist Church of West Ensley. She loved cooking and baking. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She shared her time, love, and kindness not only to her family but to all she met. 

Gayzella peacefully departed this life on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 and the angel of the Lord greeted her at the gates of Heaven. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Booker Boatwright Sr., her mother, Elizabeth Boatwright, her sister, Serena Johnson, her brother, Booker Boatwright Jr., and sons, Glenn, Andre and Reginald Hill.

Beloved memories will be cherished by: her son, Oscar Hill Jr. of Birmingham, Alabama; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lillian B. Stevenson, Betty Brackett, Hedy Davis of Birmingham, Alabama. Her memories will be long lasting with her family, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
