On Sunday June 23, 2019 at 3:26 pm God was looking at the welcome table and saw a place he wanted Terry to sit, so he surrounded him with his family and friends to bid farewell. He then welcomed him home.
Terry was born on October 18, 1968 in Fairfield, Alabama to Theodore Yarbrough and Edna Thomas. He graduated from Fairfield High School 1987 and shortly after he enlisted in the Army National Guard. He was affiliated with the Fraternal Order Of Police in surrounding areas of Alabama. Terry was employed with the City of Birmingham Sanitation Department until his failing health. He was member Judah Family Worship Center under the leadership of Bishop Roosevelt Hatcher. He was a member of New Rising Star Male chorus and Men of Praise. He had a love for martial arts.
He is survived by his father: Theodore Yarbrough; loving devoted mother: Edna Thomas; three sons: Terry D. Thomas II, Tevin Thomas, and Torey Thomas; sisters: Teresa Thomas, and Terrica Rowser (Carlos); brother: Glidoyed Orren Yarbrough; aunts: Theresa Thomas, Gwendolyn Slocum, Carolyn Langford, Anita Arnold, and Venita Dawson; uncle: Rev. Ricky Yarbrough; three nieces: Alexis Thomas, Asia Thomas, and CarDesia Rowser; three great nephews: Aiden Thomas, Omari Dawson, and CarTerrius Rowser; and a host of cousins and friends.
