Altonia Jean Wallace Scott (Lady)- Born June 7, 1967. She departed on December 09, 2020. She was the eldest daughter of Joseph Wallace Sr. and the late Shirley Ann Wallace. She gave her life to Christ at an early age, as well as a member of Sixth Avenue Baptist Church throughout her life. She was a smart child that skipped a few grades and completed high school at the age of 16 years old. Altonia was also an outstanding cheerleader and cheerleader coach who often serviced her community’s youth. She participated in the missionary work of the Spirit of Luke Charitable Foundation faithfully. She was a loving mother of two children and a caring nurse. She was pursuing a career as a Physician Assistant and was one class away from obtaining her bachelor’s degree. She was loved by many and she surrounded herself with family. She lived a life as “Superwoman” especially to her family. She was determined to make it to the top, helping and caring for others. Altonia was a dedicated caregiver to her late mother and grandmother.
She leaves behind to cherish her beloved significant other: Roderick E. Turner; daughter: Altonelia Scott; son: Johnny Scott II; stepson: Roderick Turner Jr.; a father: Joseph (Bobby)Wallace Sr.; a host of aunts and uncles, a brother: Joseph (Teniqua) Wallace Jr.; sisters: Angela Wallace, Angie (John) Zortorres, Sandra (Chuck) Pruitt, and Katie Wallace; grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and host of cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death with her mother and other relatives.
