Cornell Pyett, Jr.

Cornell “Chase” Pyett, Jr. was born on October 21, 1959 to Cornell Pyett Sr & Erma Boston Pyett. Erma Pyett has preceded him in death.  He was educated in the Chicago School System. He attended Calumet High School for 2 years and finished his high school education at PD Jackson Olin High School, Birmingham, Alabama, where he graduated before his time in 1978.  He went on to the Horn School of Drafting.  He impressed Southern Company as being so smart and ahead of his age and became the first young black Drafter to be employed with Southern Company Highway 280.

He was united in holy matrimony to Ardelia Pyett.

He departed this life on December 26, 2018 with a long battle of sickle cell.

He leaves to cherish three kids: Nikita Pyett, Denisha Pyett & Darius Pyett.  Grandkids:  Nyah Greene, Amiyah Pugh, Da’Ryah Robinson, Rodrick (RJ) Stitt, Kamora Robinson, Kamron Robinson & Jayden Mayes.
