Deveda Wells

Ms. Deveda "Ann" Wells was born on October 4, 1935 in Madison, Alabama to Mr. William Fisk and Ms. Roberta Young. She went to be home with her Lord on September 21, 2021. She resided in Ensley, Alabama for 27 years until she moved to Adamsville, Alabama to be with family. She was a member of Pike Avenue Baptist Church until it came under new ownership but continued to worship God at home.

She attended Phillips High School until the 10th grade and went back to earn her GED at age 55. She worked as a sitter/caregiver for many years.

She lived by the word of God from a young age and spoke it to everyone she came in contact with. She taught us to be better than others and to have a big heart. Everyone that knew her was touched by her loving, charming nature and her big warm hugs. Her love was endless and was a skill she mastered with grace.

Ms. Wells is preceded in death by her father William Reuben Fisk, her mother James Roberta Young, her brother Jimmy Fisk, her brother Jackie Fisk, her sister Patsy Estes and the love of her life Sterling Britt Baird.

She is survived by; son James Paul Price, daughter Lynn Yvette Walker(George),daughter Tina Marie Maddox, son Gene Alan Wells.

Grand-children; Crystal Taylor, Elizabeth Walker(Thomas), Ashley Johnson(John), Troy Taylor(Allison), Emily Wells, Abigail Musso(Jerry), Rance Maddox Jr(LeAndrea), Clinton Maddox(Chiquita), Dominique Maddox.

Great Grand-children; Alexia Taylor, Bre'Onna Coffelt, Camden Hazelrig, Evan Rhodes, CJ Williams, Destini Williams, Grayson Taylor, Isabella Musso, Aryanna Maddox, Mykenzi Maddox, Theo Williams Jr, KaMora Williams, Zykerra Maddox, Kaidence Williams, Rance Maddox III, Cailah Maddox, Rylan Maddox

And a host of relatives and friends.
