George Thigpen, Jr Obituary

George Allen Thigpen, Jr. native of Campbell, Alabama and a resident of Fairfield Alabama was born October 20, 1947, to George & Helen Todd Thigpen. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Romeo & two sisters Carol & Carolyn.

George Allen Thigpen, Jr. made his transition Friday, January 29, 2021at UAB Hospital Birmingham, Alabama.

On July 12, 1967 George and Beatrice were united in holy matrimony. To this union they had two children: Sandra and George III. George graduated from A.L. Martin High School in 1965.  He retired from ACIPCO with 35 years. 

He leaves to cherish his memories:  wife Beatrice Thigpen, one daughter, Sandra Ann Luden (Dwight); one son, George III (Tiffany) Thigpen, one granddaughter: Denisetria; one grandson; Romeo; one great granddaughter Malaysia; one great grandson; Tyreece. one sister Emma Jean Campbell (Joey), five brothers Clarence (Mary), Hurtis (Minnie), Bobby (Linda), Jimmy (Carrie), John; Romeo-deceased (Angela); two brother in laws; McKinley and Roosevelt Lassiter, three sister in laws; Geri (Leroy) Cowan, Patricia (Casby) Steps, Geneva Lassiter. 2 uncles, 6 aunts and a host of nieces, nephews, & other family & friends who will all miss him dearly.
