Janae Lashell Vance

Janae Lashell Vance was born on July 21, 1990 to Mr. Johnny B. Nixon and the late Mrs. Lolita Vance Nixon. She was raised in Bessemer, Ala.

Janae was educated in the Bessemer School System where she graduated from Jesus Christ Christian Academy. She continued her education at Lawson State Community College where she earned her degree in Early Childhood Development.

Janae begins her walk with Christ at Christ Temple Deliverance Church under the leadership of Bishop Theo Bailey. She later continued her individual walk with Christ at Kingdom Builders under the guidance of Pastor Milton Wren.

Janae Lashell Vance AKA "Nae-Nae/Sunshine" was a woman that never met a stranger. Her personality was very contagious, and she touched so many hearts. "Sunshine" fits her best because every ray of her was courageous, loving, hilarious and witty. As we reflect on these attributes, we all can say she was certainly a gift from God And will truly be missed.

Janae gained her wings on January 24th of 2023 she leaves to cherish her memories a loving daughter Samantha Clark and her loving son Jatorian Vance. Her Father Mr. Johnny B. A host of cousins Defario (DeePoo) Williams; D'Andra (Dee Dee) Vance; Ryan Hines; Danielle (Danni Poo) Tuwano (Omary); Erin Tizeno; Alexandria Presswood; Boropa “Lil Ro” Williams; Elliott Williams; Andre Thomas; Deone and Darius McCombs; Latonya Darby; Tomeka Thomas; Nakia Thomas; Shakeyba Thomas; Ciara Bradford; Latasha Bradford; Mya Bradford; Terina Sanders; Michael Thomas; Jimme Thomas; Malik Thomas; Tyler Thomas. Janae preceded in death by her mother Mrs. Lolita Vance Nixon; her uncles Nick Hudman; Robert Ali Basher; her aunts Janice Williams; Angle Blackman; her cousins Boropa Williams; Tavaris Wilson.
