Kabrina Lynn (Bryant) Fontenot

Kabrina Lynn Fontenot was born in Port Arthur, TX September 11, 1958 to Joline Estelle Bryant and Levi Bryant. Kabrina was a jack of all trades. She worked in the hospital, a vetinary, cake decorator, cosmetologist, US Steel, the apartment industry and case management. While working as a case manager she was a positive role model for the girls in the group homes that she worked with. She was compassionate and sympathetic to their needs.

She was a classy and sophisticated diva who loved makeup, clothes and being pampered. You would never catch her outside of her home without being made up and looking amazing. She was always encouraging those closest to her to be their best selves and to never settle for less.

She had a heart of gold and would do anything for anybody. And while she was extremely giving, she would also let you know when you were not living up to your potential. While she enjoyed being out in front she would always reach back to pull you up with her.

She was also very family oriented. She loved her siblings along with her nieces and nephews and made a point to have a close relationship with each and every one of them individually. You could ask anyone she was close with what they loved the most about her and they would more than likely say, "She is funny, fiery and fabulous."

She deeply loved her husband, dogs.....and spades! She could play spades for hours at a time and would let you know how done she was with you if she started to lose too bad but yet, she would be ready to start a new game after a quick reset.

Kabrina is preceded in death by her mother and father, Joline and Levi Bryant. Her brothers, Mark, Otis, Leo, Fred and Ronald.

Kabrina is survived by her husband, Wallace Fontenot. Her siblings Beaulah Bryant, Lois Bryant, Darrell & Astrid Bryant, Larry & Brenda Fontenot and Gwen & George Morris. Her 2 step - daughters, Sondra Winters and Raxl Fontenot. Her nieces and nephews Shaun Ross, Lisa Sylvie, Bianca Spellman, Erica Bryant, Gary Bryant, Justin Bryant, Hosea Dominic, Sebastian Bryant, Sade, Jasari Fontenot, Taylor Morris and a host of great nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
