Kamari DaShaun Cooper Adams was born on July 3, 2008 in Birmingham, Alabama to
Glenda Renae Adams and Tony Bernard Cooper, Jr. He confessed Christ at an early age
under the leadership of Reverend Chris Hodges and united with Church of the Highlands in
Irondale, Alabama.
Kamari attended Erwin Middle School and was promoted to the ninth grade this 2022-2023
school year, where he would have been attending Centerpoint High School.
Kamari had a passion for music, engineering and cooking. To Know Kamari was to know
Kamari. He could make the saddest person smile and was a genuine, energetic young man.
He was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Bessie Lee Adams; a great uncle,
Fredrick Adams; and his great grandparents, Gladys and Ralph Cooper.
Kamari leaves to cherish his memory: mother, Glenda Renae Adams; father, Tony Bernard
Cooper, Jr.; brother, Kenyan DaQuan Cooper; sister, Maci Cooper; grandparents, Bessie
and Jimmy Sturdivant, Clinton and Kelly Rose, Patricia Cooper, Joe Hill, Tony Bernard
Cooper, Sr., and Metha Cooper; uncles, James Cooper, and Jamario Sturdivant; aunts,
Jymesha Sturdivant, and Teerra Smiley; a host of great aunts, uncles, cousins, other family
members, and friends.
