Mack Elridge Obituary

Mack was born in Birmingham, Alabama on April 21, 1940 to his loving parents, the late Colmon and Allene (Lewis) Elridge.  He was the youngest of three siblings.

Throughout his career, he was an accomplished insurance executive and business man. He received numerous awards, trophies, and accolades for his tremendous accomplishments. Mack was highly respected and appreciated for the attention he gave to the individual needs of his clients.  Mack was more than their agent; he was their friend.

Mack was a lifelong faithful, devoted, and dedicated member of Sixth Avenue Baptist Church. He served as a faithful Deacon, Sunday School teacher and tutor throughout the years.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Deloris Elridge;  two daughters, Hiala Elridge and Nailah Elridge Baker (Erich) Birmingham, Alabama; a sister, Cora Johnson, Nashville Tennessee; grandchildren, Kadin, Amiala, Halani, and Kairo; two nieces, Cheryl Johnson, Nashville, Tennessee and Colene Elridge, Cynthiana, Kentucky; three nephews, Michael Elridge, Los Angeles, California, Alifileti Johnson, Canton, Georgia and Colmon Elridge III, of Georgetown, Kentucky; special cousin, Gloria King, Birmingham, Alabama; and many relatives and friends.
