Marguerite (Moore) Dyer

Marguerite Moore Dyer was born September 05, 1934 in New Orleans Louisiana to Beatrice Olney Moore and James Moore Sr.. Marguerite was a free spirit with the kindest soul. She departed from this life on June 9th, 2020. Marguerite was baptized at St Katherine Catholic Church. Later she joined Mercy Seat Baptist Church. She worked at Charity Hospital as a dietician in New Orleans, LA. She was wed to Melvin Isdore Dyer. She leaves behind one daughter, Leatrice Dyer, and two sons, Tyrone Dyer and Elton Dyer. Her children, Bernard Dyer, Melvin Dyer Jr, Warren Dyer, and Yolanda Dyer preceded her in death. She leaves behind twenty-three grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, and two god children. She also had three sisters: Ernestine Keglar Kelly, Mildred Keglar Prudhomme, Regina Doris Hess, and three brothers: Johnnie Madison Sr, James Moore Sr, and Lionel Glenn, who all preceded her in death. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.The endless laughs and stories shared with family and friends will carry on with the legacy she has built.
