Milton Edward Tiddle, age 86, of Atlanta, Georgia, formerly of Birmingham, Alabama and Inglewood, California passed to eternal rest on Saturday, October 10, 2020, in Atlanta, Georgia. Milton was a proud graduate of Parker High School and attended Tennessee State University. He was an avid athlete who also played baseball for a short time with the Kansas City Monarchs Negro League. He retired from Delta Airlines in Atlanta, Georgia in 1999.
He was preceded in death by his father, Reverend Arthur B. Tiddle, Sr.; mother, Mildred Tiddle Lambert; and brothers, Arthur Tiddle, Jr. and Preston Tiddle. He is survived by his son, Terry Thompson, Atlanta, Georgia; daughters, Katrisa Tiddle Jones, Birmingham, Alabama; Melissa Tiddle, Inglewood California; Melody Tiddle, Silver Spring, Maryland; five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, other relatives and numerous friends.
Public viewing will be held Friday, October 16, 2020, 4-8:00 p.m. at Kirksey’s Mortuary. Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 17, 2020, 11:00 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery. The COVID-19 guidelines will be followed.
